Man who wanted to get PlayStation 5 fixed chances upon 24×7 repair shop in Bengaluru

The now-viral post was shared by Ayush who is a relations developer at Solana Foundation. He wanted to get his PlayStation 5 repaired and chanced upon Console Fixit in Bengaluru. According to him, the company is a family-run empire with more than seven centres all across South India and operates 24×7.

It is safe to say that Bengaluru never fails to surprise. With its never-ending “Peak Bengaluru” moments or life in the tech city in general, the Silicon Valley of India is a package indeed. So, when an X (formerly Twitter) user shared a post on a 24×7 electronics repair shop, it obviously garnered a lot of attention and tickled the fancy of gadget enthusiasts.

The now-viral post was shared by Ayush who is a relations developer at Solana Foundation. He wanted to get his PlayStation 5 repaired and chanced upon Console Fixit in Bengaluru. According to him, the company is a family-run empire with more than seven centres all across South India.

“Went to get my PS5 repaired in blr, landed into a family run empire called consolefixit with more than 7 centers in south India. They train their family members and run these shops 24×7. India surprises every day,” read the caption of the post by Ayush. He also shared a picture of a man surrounded with motherboards of different gaming consoles.

Since being shared online, the post has amassed over six lakh views and over 13,000 likes. Social media users were intrigued. Some people, who knew about Console Fixit, shared their experience as well.

“They go down to the level of fixing PCBs and not just regular repair. And this is a 24×7 running store. Repair a console anytime,” a user, who had visited the company’s centre previously, wrote.

Another user commented, “I like their name! Simple, to the point! And when you call it an empire, I’m sure whoever thought of it, gave it a good long hard thought.”

“I too went there to get my controller repaired and response time was terrific, 30 mins,” a third user remarked.

A fourth user added, “I got my 2011 Macbook Pro repaired in 7k, had a display card issue. Back in 2016, Apple quoted 45k to repair, gave up. Kept the laptop in store. Saw a small all in all repair shop just asked him if he can work on a mac. He said yes. Works like a charm.”

Meanwhile, according to Console Fixit’s website, the company specialises in electronics repair and services for gaming consoles including Sony PlayStation and Xbox. The company was established in 2008 and is based in Chennai.
